Treatment Approach

Our therapy approach is tailored to each client’s needs and preferences. We see things from a lens of social justice and aim to create a warm and safe environment in which we can discuss the most important (and sometimes most difficult) things for you. We often incorporate evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) into sessions while also using mindfulness and a strengths-based approach. Some of our clinicians have obtained certifications in perinatal mental health (PMH-C) and are also trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and other evidence-based modalities. We strongly believe that collaboration is a key component of care, and will coordinate with other providers, such as your PCP or psychiatrist, whenever needed.

Focus Areas

Pregnancy, Postpartum,
and Reproductive Transitions

This season can bring both joy and pain—often at the same time. We provide grounded, affirming support through the complexities of fertility, pregnancy, loss, birth, postpartum, and early parenting. You don’t have to carry it alone.

Anxiety, Depression,
and Other Mood Disorders

When everyday life feels heavy, overwhelming, or unmanageable, we’re here to help you reconnect with steadiness and self-compassion. Together, we’ll explore tools and insights to support emotional regulation and deeper understanding.

Trauma and PTSD

Trauma leaves its imprint—but healing is possible. Using evidence-based, experiential, somatic, and relational approaches, we work gently and collaboratively to process past experiences and help you feel more present, safe, and whole.

Chronic Illness and Medical Trauma

Living with chronic illness or navigating medical systems can be deeply isolating. We offer a space where your body’s story is honored and your emotional experience is met with empathy, not judgment.

Grief and Loss

Grief is not something to fix—it’s something to witness, hold, and move through at your own pace. Whether your loss is recent or long ago, we offer a compassionate space to mourn, remember, and make meaning.

Parenting and Identity Shifts

Parenting transforms you—from the inside out. We support caregivers in navigating the emotional labor of parenting, changes in identity, and the legacy of how we were parented, with warmth and curiosity.

Life Transitions and Role Changes

Change—wanted or unwanted—can stir uncertainty, anxiety, and growth. Whether you're starting something new or letting go of something familiar, therapy can help you move forward with clarity and self-trust.
